Edmond Daniel Schryer was born on September 11, 1939, in Detroit, Michigan, to Edmond Joseph Schryer and Pamela Delphe Schryer. He was the youngest of eleven children, and his nickname was "Bozo." 

He met his wife, Sandra Ann Dickhausen, when he was 17, and she was 15. They dated for several years. They were married on September 29, 1962, and had their firstborn daughter, Laurie Ann Schryer (1963, Long Island, New York), and their second son, Thomas Daniel Schryer (1966, London, England), and their third child, Paul David Schryer (1969, Oscoda, Michigan).Sandy and Eddie were happily married for 63 years. 

Eddie joined and served in the Air Force for 20 years, serving in the Vietnam war as a medic in Bangkok, Thailand. He built his house for his family in Shingle Springs, California. They lived there happily for 20 plus years and then moved to Utah to be with grandchildren. 

After retirement, he worked as a pharmacy tech for LDS hospital for 20 plus years and enjoyed every moment of helping those in need. Eddie and Sandy's first granddaughter, Danielle Lynn, was born in 1989, their second granddaughter, Sara Michelle Schryer, was born in 1999, and their third grand-daughter, Shae Leone Bunker, was born in 2001. He was also known for his love and generosity in making and sharing for all of his neighbors and friends. 

Edmond was a handyman and a dedicated volunteer to Tiny Tim's Toy Factory, a non-profit organization. He went every Wednesday with a big smile on his face and hands full of love to help create toy cars for children all around the world. He always had a bag of candy bars handy on him to hand out to any child he saw. Making children smile was his favorite thing to do. 

Edmond Schryer passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and loved ones on August 25, 2026. He will always be loved, cherished, and remembered by so many people that loved him, loved his infectious smile and laugh, and most importantly his loving and giving heart. 

A graveside service will be held on September 25, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., at Utah Veteran's Cemetery and Memorial Park, 17111 South 1700 West, Bluffdale, Utah, 84065. In lieu of flowers, his family asks for donations to Tiny Tim's Toy Factory: www.givebutter.com/tinytimstoys.

Following the service, family and friends are welcome to join in a brief luncheon at the West Jordan Veteran's Memorial Park Pavilion, 1985 West 7800 South, just off 2200 West, in West Jordan, Utah.
