Died: October 2, 2026 at home under Hospice care
A gentle man who gained mechanics, electronics, instrumentation, and refrigeration skills through knowledge, training, and experience. He could diagnosis a problem, and troubleshoot to component level. He retired from ARUP in 2016.
He loved his family, having a job where he worked with his dad and his son, attending family reunions, RV vacations, waterskiing, hunting, and woodworking.
A missionary in the Florida, then the Alabama/Florida missions in the 1970's and had a current temple recommend.
Survived by his wife of 53 years, 2 children and spouses, 4 grandchildren, 3 sisters, their spouses, and children with spouses and children.
Preceded in death by a son; his father; 3 sisters, 1 brother-in-law, 2 nephews; and both sets of grandparents.
His motto: If I can get my head off the pillow, I'll go to work.
