Virginia Joan Crawford Westenskow was born on July 29, 1936, in La Grande, Oregon, to Kenneth LeRoy Crawford and Esther Davis Crawford, and passed away on September 27, 2026, in West Jordan, Utah, at the age of 90 years. She was always known as "Joan," except in childhood when her family nicknamed her "Joann." Joan is survived by her brother, Jon (Sandy) Crawford, of La Grande, Oregon.
Joan was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-three years, Kenneth Ray Westenskow, a longtime educator in Roseville, who passed away on December 31, 2006. Ken and Joan were preceded in death by their son, Terry Ray Westenskow, who passed away on August 3, 1999.
Joan is survived by her children, Kenda (John) Davis, Brian (Michelle) Westenskow, and Jill (Andy) Conrad, and by her ten grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. "Grammy" will be greatly missed by her immediate and extended family and will never be forgotten.
Ken and Joan were longtime residents of Roseville, California, and had previously lived in the Ophir-Auburn area of Northern California. They grew an Amway business together and reached the level of Diamond direct distributors. They traveled the world and shared the business with many people, and they were keynote speakers at many rallies.
Ken and Joan were faithful members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They were sealed in marriage in the Los Angeles California Temple and were married for time and all eternity. Their family finds comfort in knowing they are once again reunited and that families can be forever.
Joan will be missed by all those she served, by the friendships that enriched her life, and by her family who dearly love her.
A family graveside service will be held October 9, 2026, at the Roseville Public Cemetery in Roseville, California.
