Walter James Facemyer

Walter James Facemyer passed peacefully at home on July 21, 2021.

Born May 16, 1935 in Pennsylvania to Laura Facemyer. He grew up and went to school in Elmira, New York. He joined the Air Force where he served in South Dakota and France.

He was the father of seven:  Patsy (Ed) Jones, Tonya Facemyer, Kim Facemyer, Doug (Stephanie) Facemyer, David (Kellie) Facemyer, Kelly Facemyer, Kevin (Karyn) Facemyer. He was also a brother, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather.

After the Air Force, Walt worked for the US Post Office, England Trucking and Greyhound Bus.

He loved living all over the United States; especially fishing and hunting in Coeur d’Alene Idaho. “Papa” will be dearly missed by all.

Interment and services will be held at Utah Veteran’s Memorial Park on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at 10 AM.
