Thomas William Manseau

August 6, 1949 — September 18, 2021

Tommy, our very much-loved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather unfortunately lost his hard-fought battle with cancer Saturday. He left this earthly place at home peacefully with Sam and his kids by his side. Although he left this world, he was able to live a very fulfilled and extremely productive and well-deserved life. He is someone who will be remembered by his charming and highly contagious smile. He had a wonderful and happy marriage to his best friend and soul mate Sam. Who, when he came into her life not only gained a good woman, but took on the role as dad, not father or stepfather, but DAD to her four kids.

Tom was a career over-the-road driver who gained many safety awards over his 45 years driving. He and Sam made many close friends these past 25 years driving across the US together. When they weren’t driving you could find him in his garage tinkering on his antique cars. He loved restoring cars with his son & grandsons. He was a member of two antique car clubs and really enjoyed traveling and showing off his cars with his show buddies Mark, Steve & Randy, grandson Cory and grand-daughter Nickie. He also enjoyed spending time with his family cruising and camping around Lake Powell.

Although he only just recently had the opportunity to begin spending more time with his son Tom and wife Sondra and their 3 children, he was looking forward to being together in Arkansas helping on the farm and boating on the lake.

He was preceded in death by his parents Wilfred and Madeline Manseau; his brothers Art and Bobby; his sister Marcie; and his son Dannie.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years Samantha Manseau (Masse’); four children, Thomas Manseau-Puorro (Sondra), Sherrie Johnson (Kirk), Catherine Rue (Martin), Christopher Deuel and adopted son Carey Bess (Beth); 11 grandchildren, 15 ½ great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law Linda Manseau and Diana Manseau; many nieces; nephews;, and close friends.

Tom would say “Roll On Family, Roll On”.

He will be terribly missed by everyone that knew him and especially his wife and kids. May your journey keep going even after you leave this world.
