Patricia Maxine Williams

June 23, 1937 — November 12, 2021

Patricia Maxine Williams, our beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on November 12, 2021. Pat was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on June 23, 1937 to William Edward Williams, Jr. and Ella Watson Williams (nee Peterson) and grew up to, wonderfully, marry a man with the same last name! Pat married her love, Ronald L. Williams, on August 28, 1954, and shared 65 incredible years together before he died in 2019. We imagine the sweet reunion that Pat and Ron must have had and celebrate that they get to spend the rest of eternity together.

Pat led a life of kindness, love, and service.  She was known for always being the first one to hug and comfort someone when they were down and to open her home and kitchen to all that were in need. Her patience was outstanding, and she was generous with her time, energy and resources. She made everyone feel welcomed and included, especially when she would wrap her arms around you and "claim" you as hers and part of her family. Of course, everyone would want to claim her right back! All felt accepted and valued by Pat.

Much like the roses she adored, Pat's beauty and grace shined through.  She used that light and her talents to serve faithfully in many callings as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  She especially loved serving youth and children in the special needs mutual and primary.  Her bright eyes, warm soul, and caring attitude made the youth feel comfortable and loved. She was also a great teacher and had fun and interesting stories and wisdom to share. Her skill and love for the piano made listeners feel joy and peace.

Her legacy lives on through her children: Robert (Carin) Williams, Terri (Ron) Williams Lemos, and Lorri (Doug) Nordgren; as well as her grandchildren: Dave (Karey) Williams, Angela Williams, Vern (Kellie) Williams, Amber (Adam) Pendleton, Israel (Nichole) Williams, Tiffany (Bryan) Erickson,  Heather Nordgren, Andrew (Elba) Nordgren, Lindsay (Dallin) Anderson, Clint Nordgren, Matt (Courtney) Nordgren; and numerous great grandkids, as well as all of the friends she claimed along the way.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother's Bruce and Michael; husband Ron; children Randy and Ronnie Williams; and granddaughter Joy Williams.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Our House in Tooele, Utah, for the wonderful care and love they gave Pat.

A 10:00 a.m. viewing and 11:00 a.m. funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 S Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah. Followed by the dedication of the grave at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E 10600 S, Sandy, Utah.
