Marcia Sorenson Allgood

Marcia Sorenson Allgood 80 passed away peacefully at home surrounded by love ones on August 11, 2021 in Salt Lake City Utah. Born April 6,1941 in Logan, Utah; daughter of Glen and Ada Sorenson.  Marcia married Arthur L. Roy Allgood December 19,1960 in Elko, Nevada.

Marcia was an avid reader. She read everything she could get ahold of. She loved putting puzzles together and just relaxing while working on them. Marcia was very crafty. Between cross stitching hand towels, she would crochet blankets.  She also tried her hand at painting and was awesome at it. She loved all of Thomas Kincades paintings and watching the Hallmark Channel all while enjoying her cup of coffee.

Marcia was always taking care of everyone one way or another. Family meant everything to her.  Marcia was very blessed with such a loving and caring family from her parents; sisters; nieces and nephews; to her children and grandchildren.  Marcia said her children were her greatest achievement and she was so proud of them all.

Marcia wanted all of her family and friends to know how much you all meant to her; she loves each one of you so much.  She loves you more!

Marcia was preceded in death by her parents Glen and Ada Sorenson; sisters, LuAnn Simpson and Laurel Roper; husband, Arthur L (Roy) Allgood; son, Richard G Allgood; daughters, Marie E Espinosa and Diana M Shields.

Marcia is survived by sister, Glenna Levorsen (Dean); son Robert L Allgood (Nancy), daughters, Angela K Anderson (Kim) and Vicki L Olson; 16 grandchildren 16 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and many nieces; and nephews; and many cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 18^th, 11:00 am, at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood, where viewings will be held Tuesday, August 17th from 6-8pm   and again Wednesday, 10:00-10:45 am prior to services. Interment, Riverton City Cemetery, 1540 W 13200 S, Riverton, UT
