Iris Narlene Stratton

Iris passed away peacefully on March 17, 2020 at the age of 89. Born to goodly parents, April 29, 1930 to James C Burnside and Vera McArthur Burnside in Mt. Pleasant, UT (Mountainville).  Moved to Salt Lake City, UT in 1944. Later Married to Erman D. Wood. Divorced. Married Martell Stratton. He passed away May 1975. Iris was a member of the LDS Church, had been a pianist and organist for many years. She also retired from K-mart and loved to travel.

Preceded in death by husband Martell; son Dennis; parents; three brothers; and three sisters.  Iris is survived by Janet (Dick) LaBard, Brenda (Jim) Angelo, Brent D. (Kass) Wood, and Diana (Dick) Grow; seven grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren. Also survived by one sister, Erma Tennesen.

Private viewing will be held. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant City Cemetery on Saturday, 3/21/2020 at 12:00pm.
