The sound of angels filled the heavens on the return of our beloved wife, mother, grammy, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend on November 25, 2018 at the age of 75. She fought a long hard battle with multiple medical conditions and endured a fight with cancer. She endured it all with her spunky spirit and continual love for all that were around her.
She was born in July 1943 to loving parents, Mark and Thelma Carroll. She was the first born of four daughters. She had a deep love for each of her three sisters - Sharon, Linda, and JoAnne. Her mom was always her primary role model and hero. She graduated from Bingham High School in 1961, and moved on to obtain her Associates Degree in Elementary Education from Dixie College. She loved Dixie College and enjoyed being a “Rebel”. She enjoyed and excelled at tap dancing and ballet, and danced into her college years. She was the managing editor of “The Dixie”, participated in various drama productions, and was a member of the Rebel Rousers and Lamba Delta Sigma.
She married Donald Beebe, better known as Heeb or Heber, on November 19, 1965 for all time and eternity in the Salt Lake Temple. We were honored to share their 53rd wedding anniversary just days prior her passing. Charlotte is Don’s queen, and Don is Charlotte’s king! Together they had two children (Scott and Michelle), and two more were added to the family by marriage (Lisa and Jason). Most important to her was family and faith.
She was highly intelligent, fiercely independent, was extremely organized, and was a spiritual woman who always spoke her mind. She loved cooking and all those who consumed her food loved it as well. We will greatly miss her fantastic dinner rolls on Sundays and holidays. Halloween and Valentines will never be the same without her special iced sugar cookies. Her house was so clean that surgery could be performed in any room. She loved taking family vacations, visiting Yellowstone National Park and Colorado Springs, Colorado, and doting on her three human grandchildren (Lexie, Spencer, and Sydnee) and three canine grandchildren (Jed – who is running with her in heaven, Hogan, and Rhae). She savored and enjoyed Hershey candy bars, McDonald’s Coke (leaded please), cherry Slurpee’s, a great roast with mashed potatoes and gravy, steak, and heavenly cakes or pie for dessert. Meals were always multiple courses at the Beebe home. She may have said on many occasions, “I hate cold food”. She loved attending or watching BYU football and basketball games. Go Cougs!
She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served in various church callings that utilized her talents and love. Those callings included Stake Primary President, Relief Society President, and various other callings. Her most important and satisfying calling and role was that of being a wife, mother, and grandmother.
The family wishes to thank all of her wonderful healthcare providers that treated her with great kindness, respect, and love.
She leaves a legacy of faith, strength, service, and love. She is deeply loved and will be greatly missed. We are so grateful for the knowledge that we will see her again and spend the eternities with her.
A celebration of Charlotte’s life and legacy will be held Monday, December 3, 2018, 12:00 p.m., at the Jordan River Stake Center, 1380 West 6785 South, West Jordan, Utah.
