Jayne Burnett Facer, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother was born in Ogden, Utah on November 19, 1943 to Joseph Henry Burnett and Martha Sarah Hart. She had 2 older sisters and 1 brother. Jayne was raised in Sunset, Utah and attended Davis High and after graduating, she attended Weber State where she studied Home Economics. Jayne married Duane C. Prettyman in April of 1964 and they had 2 children Shelly and Michael C. Prettyman. In 1972, Jayne bought a home in Kearns, Utah where she lived and raised her children. She was an active member of her community and a faithful member of the L.D.S. Church where she held various callings and church positions where she served others. On July 11, 1996, Jayne married the love of her life, James H. Facer in the Jordan River Temple. They moved to West Jordan in Sept of 2000, and were married for 22 years. Jayne died on Sept. 20, 2018 surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband(James), sister (Evelyn B. Long); 2 children, Michael C. (Katie), Shelly; 7 stepchildren, Kerry (Jo) Facer, Kelly (Sherry)Facer, Lisa (Benton) Burrows, Tracy (Chris) Facer, Darcy (Scott) White, Kjersten Walden, Shandra (Dan) Brooks; 5 grandchildren, Jennifer Hansen, Stacie (Tysen) Barker, Matthew (Alena) Little, Ryan Little, Jayci Prettyman; 22 step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held, Wednesday, September 26th,2018 at 11:00 am at The Clinton City Cemetery. A Viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 25th, 2018, 6-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home. Interment, Clinton City Cemetery.
