Helen Vega

Our loving mother and grandmother, Helen Vega, age 89, passed away at home on October 18, 2018. She was born December 28, 1928 in Madrid, New Mexico , a daughter of Francisco Mendoza and Juanita Montoya. She married Louis E. Vega on January 14, 1956 in Helper, Utah.He preceded her in death. Helen was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and was very diligent in her beliefs in the Blessed Mother. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Survived by her son, Steven Vega (Josete Batty);4 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband; sons, Anthony and Michael; and brother, Willie Musgrave. Special thanks to Gary and Victoria Staas, Jennifer and Gordon Tiemeyer, and Diana and Roger Ochocki for their loving care and concern for Helen. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, October 23rd, 2018, 11:30 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 4501 West 5215 South, Kearns, Utah. A viewing will be held Monday, October 22, 2018, 6-7:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road with a Rosary following at 7:00 p.m. Interment will follow the Mass on Tuesday at Mt.
