Charleen Buchanan Luke

Charleen Buchanan Luke passed away due to cancer on November 5, 2018 in West Valley City, Utah. Charleen was born in Richfield, Utah on April 19, 1932. Her father was Alton Buchanan and her mother was Rodean Jensen Buchanan. She had two brothers and a sister. Val, Arlen (Ozzie), and LaJuana (Lou). They all preceded her in death. She married Louis A. Luke and together they raised four children. She is survived by her children; LaJuana Michele Wasberg (Estacada, Oregon), Louis Michael Luke and wife Cathy (Green Cove Springs, Florida), Cheryl Denise Luke-Jensen and husband Jim (Marysvale, Utah), Marcia D. Luke and husband Lynn Baum (West Valley City, Utah). She is survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Mom generously gave to others and over the years helped many. She believed in the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the promise of temple blessings that the family is eternal. Our hearts rejoice knowing she is reunited with family and that our time apart will be temporary. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 10th, 10:30 a.m., at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 S. Redwood Road, where viewings will be held, Friday, November 9th, 6-8:00 p.m. and prior to services on Saturday from 9:30 10:15 a.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
