William Veldren Skinner passed away peacefully on May 2, 2026, due to complications from kidney failure. Bill was born to Isaac Hill Skinner and Crystal May Hansen on March 13, 1939, in Conda, Idaho.
Bill was greatly loved by his friends at Valencia Assisted Living where he served as Elders Quorum President. He loved to call bingo, sport his cowboy hat, and eat a rare steak. Bill was an avid lover of all sports, having umpired for many years. He was typically found watching a sporting event, especially BYU.
In his early years Bill was married to Persis Ann Brown, and they had six children together. They later divorced and Bill married Beverly Ann Blackwell.
Bill and his wife Beverly loved to travel around the states in their RV with the goal of attending as many temples as they could. They had many fun years together of travel and service in their church.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Wildamae, his brothers Isaac Lavelle and Roger Lamar, his wife Beverly, and his daughter Camille. He is survived by his children Lionel, Chad, Lisa Dockstader, Adrian (Elizabeth), and Aimee McGee, his sisters Venetta Larae Spencer (Robert) and Gloria Jean Jose (Bill). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
There will be a graveside service at Wilford Cemetery in Wilford, Idaho on May 12, 2026, at 11:00 am. The family would like to thank the staff of Valencia, True North Hospice, and Meadow Peak for their care.
