William Bryant

William Tate Bryant (Bubba Anfinson) was born July 30, 1999, in Vernal, Utah, and passed away June 28, 2025, in Salt Lake City, Utah, after suffering a catastrophic subarachnoid hemorrhage while at work.

In his youth, Bubba could be found at the lake, camping, riding 4-wheelers, hiking, at the park, and golfing with his mom, brother Nick, and sister Izzy. They had so many adventures and silly shenanigans that they created memories that will last a lifetime. Bubba and his best friend and brother of the heart, Josh, spent several hours on the lake, on the football field, golfing, and overall causing havoc for their poor mothers. Bubba and Josh were referred to as "the twins" for many years and have remained lifelong brothers.

Bubba graduated in 2018 from Brighton High School in Cottonwood Heights, Utah, where he played football and rugby and cheered on the varsity cheer team. That same year, he joined the United States Marines, graduated from boot camp, and shipped off to Japan shortly thereafter. He served four years in the Marine Corps and was honorably discharged from the service in August 2022. Bubba was a friend to all and loved by all who knew him. He was kind-hearted, loyal, funny, and always had a joke to tell. He always found ways to brighten the day of those around him. Bubba brought joy into their lives with his great big smile and the tightest bear hug. He loved to cook, especially when using the grill, and thoroughly enjoyed experimenting with flavors and spices. Bubba went all out with whatever he did, but what he enjoyed the most was being surrounded by his family.

Bubba could frequently be found entertaining his nieces and nephews, having game nights with his cousins, and shooting guns with his brother Nick, uncle Matt, brother Jared, and favorite little sis Iz.

Bubba's mom was his best friend, and they spent countless hours talking about everything and nothing. No topic was too big; no trouble was too small. They talked about it all and were only ever a phone call away. Pacific and Japanese time zones were never allowed to come between them. Every activity was a shared adventure, and they took no moment for granted. They swam, hiked, biked, snowboarded, painted, mowed, gardened, renovated everything all the time, always together. Whenever Bubba struggled, Cindy bolstered him, and when Cindy hit a low point, Bubba always responded with "I got you, momma."

Bubba recently moved back from Seattle, Washington, to Logan, Utah, with his girlfriend Nyko. He was excited to be close to family and make more memories while attending Utah State University and pursuing a degree in Aviation alongside his little sis Iz. Bubba could not wait to go on all the new adventures he planned with Ashton and LeeRoy, more time at the shooting range with Nick, Josh, Iz, Matt, and Jared. Bubba had planned many game nights and dinners with his Granny and Pops, Mom and Andreas, Izzy, Nick, his family, and so many other family members and friends.

Bubba was truly the light of our lives and brought so much love into this world. While on this earth, Bubba's final gift was organ donation. With this gift of life, he hopes that the recipients of his organs will have the opportunity to live life to the fullest, enjoy moments with their family and friends, and fulfill their dreams.

We love you, Bubba, to the moon and back. More than there are stars in the sky, we will cherish the memories we have made. Our hearts are broken, but we will live life to its fullest, love deeply, and continue to have many adventures with you in our hearts.

Bubba is survived by Cindy and Andreas, brother Nick Anfinson (Rylee), sister Izzy Wesemann, bonus brothers Josh Connelly, Matt (San) Wesemann, Jordan (Wendy) Wesemann, Jared Wesemann, Morgan (Emily Volk) Wesemann, Pops and Granny (Gary and Patty Bryant), Vera (Steve) Cook, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends including his girlfriend Nyko Bizieff, his bonus families the Foremans, Connellys, Sendziks, and Jason Anfinson and his family and preceded in death by great-grandparents Perkins, Bryant's, and Hatch.
