Saturday, December 21, 1954, Virginia Jean married the man of her dreams. Tuesday, December 21, 2010, They were sealed for time and all eternity. Wednesday, December 21, 2022, Our beautiful Grandmother, Virginia Jean Putscher "Jeanie", was reunited with her loving husband Ralph Hyrum Putscher, while surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren in the comfort of her home in Taylorsville, Utah.

Jeanie was born on April 4, 1937, in Doraville, Georgia, to Mark Edward and Irene Maude Nalley. She grew up on a family farm with her 2 brothers and 3 sisters, Jeanie is the third born of six children. In 1954, she met her husband Ralph Hyrum Putscher, while he was stationed at Fort Mcpherson in Atlanta, Georgia. They were married on December 21, 1954, in Dallas, Georgia. They moved to Salt Lake City, Utah in 1956 after Ralph's service, where they would spend their lives together. Jeanie was very talented and creative; she loved to make decorations for various holidays and often made decorations for the relief society parties for her ward. She was such a generous woman and loved to serve in any way she could.

She is survived by her son, Mark (Alayna) Putscher; daughter LeAnn Hoyt; grandchildren, Valerie (Walter) Hepworth, William (Julie) Hoyt, Nichole (Christopher) Gandy, Casey (Alex) Putscher, Ambyr (Gabe) Jessop; 2 great-grandsons; 10 great-granddaughters; brother, Earnest (Betty) Nalley; sister, Doris (Rick) Cook; numerous, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, Mark Jr.; sisters, Evelyn and Frances; granddaughter, Tiffini Putscher; grandson, Tyler Hoyt; Son-in-law, Bill Hoyt.

Please join us in celebrating Jeanie's life at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, December 28th, 2022, at the Taylorsville Gardens 1st Ward, 4252 Bennion Road (1905 W.), Taylorsville, Utah, where a viewing will be held from 10:00 - 11:15 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
