Vanessa Irving North

Vanessa Irving North 42, of Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away on March 31, 2026.

Vanessa was someone who truly lived life to the fullest. She was always ready for a good time and had a way of lighting up every room she walked into. Her energy, laughter, and presence brought joy to everyone around her, and she created lasting memories with all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her beloved children, Hermando Irving and Dayna Chrissy North; her significant other, Samuel Maestas; her mother, Maryann Mike; her sisters, Hermanda Olivia Herrera (Ricky) and Hermesia Olivia Velarde (Emilio); and her brother, Crandall Irving, along with many extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory forever.
She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Lucy P. Benally; her cousins, Nizhoni Johle, Leah Tso, Ambrose Sales and Merle Lee.

Funeral services will be held at McDougal Funeral Home on April 8, 2026, at 12:30 PM, with burial to follow at Redwood Memorial Estates.

Vanessa will forever be remembered for her vibrant spirit, her beautiful soul, and the love she gave so freely.
