Travis Garcia

Travis Jay Garcia was born to Caroyln Allred Garcia and Albert Paul Garcia on September 5, 1985, and passed away tragically on November 24, 2022, surrounded by family and friends.

Travis met the love of his life in 2004 and they have shared an amazing 18 years, building a beautiful life and family together. Travis was a family man through and through and loved nothing more than spending time with his wife and children.

He was a dedicated and hard-working man who consistently wanted to learn and expand his horizons, which led to him obtaining his EMT license and working as a volunteer firefighter for a period before pursuing a journeyman position in HVAC.

He was always there with a listening ear and an open door for those in need. He will be sorely missed.

Travis is survived by his wife Piper Garcia and two children Willa and Sylis; Mother Carolyn Allred Garcia; brother Phillip Allyn Garcia and a large extended family including friends that became family. 

Preceded in death by his father, Albert Paul Garcia. 

A gathering in his honor will be held on Monday, December 5, 2022, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah.
