Our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather, Thomas Lewis Wolf, passed away peacefully at home on
November 19, 2025, just shy of his 97th birthday. He led a distinguished and fulfilling life.
Tom was born on December 22, 1928, in San Francisco, California, to George Given Wolf and Kate Ingram Wolf. At the age of three, he moved with his family to Nephi, Utah, where he grew up. At 19, Tom joined the Army National Guard, serving in Texas, Louisiana, and Ohio, where he trained others for service. He later worked at the Tooele Army Depot, retiring after 33 years of dedicated service. An only child, Tom dreamed of one day having a large family of his own. That dream came true when he married the love of his life, Nora, on November 9, 1968, in Elko, Nevada. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Together, they built a life centered on love, faith, and family.
Tom's greatest joys were his wife, his children, and the outdoors-whether tending to his garden, camping, hunting, or fishing with his sons and grandchildren. Tom is survived by his children: Hal (Karen) Wolf, Dave (Patti) Wolf, Brenda Meredith, Chris (Patty) Schaugaard, Leona Schaugaard, Dallas (Donna) Jolley, and Peggy Wolf; along with 22 grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren, and 21 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Nora, his daughter Ann Nuzzo Lindberg, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to caregivers, family, and neighbors whose compassion and love allowed Tom to remain at home during hisfinal years. His legacy of devotion, kindness, and strength will live on in all who knew and loved him.
