1933-2023

Beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather Thomas Christy Moore, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2023.

He was born on December 21st, 1933, in Vernal, Utah to Lewis Henry Moore and Nora Gilman Moore. He was a faithful and devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He had many callings in the church, including Bishop twice and up until just recently was a dedicated temple worker spending several days each week at the Oquirrh Mountain Utah Temple.

He is survived by his son Ken (Terry), West Valley, 10 grandchildren and more than 10 great-grandchildren, as well as his older brother Keith, Herriman. Preceded in death by his wife Alberta, and daughters Debi and Sheril, his brother Hal, and sister Kathy.

Thank you to the staff at Meadow Peak Rehab and Assisted Living for giving him care during these past few weeks.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at 11am at the McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah. A viewing will be held at the same address from 10am to 10:45 am that same day. Interment will be at the Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East 10600 South where he will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife.
