Stephen Knight Milner

Stephen Knight Milner, of Salt Lake City Utah, passed away at home on August 1, 2026, at the age of 72.

He was born on June 14, 1954, in Alexandria, Virginia to father William G Milner and mother Doris E. Milner.

Stephen is survived by his wife Candy Lynn Milner; his children, daughters Crystal Marie Lanza, Stephanie Adel King, Jennifer Ann Robbins, Jennifer Kelly Calderon, and by his sister Kristine Thompson. He has 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He was always devoted and loving to his family as that was his priority in life.

He also devoted his life to service to his country in the US Air Force for 20 years in the US and abroad in England. He gave his time and skills to assist military members in recording and updating military personnel records for peace time and war time service. He received a Meritorious Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon among others. He also served in support of Operation Desert Shield/Storm.

He then used his skills in the computer tech industry until he retired. He worked with many Utah businesses and organizations for technical customer service and hardware repair.

He was passionate about riding dirt bikes his whole life. He enjoyed racing and riding for leisure. He was a member of different riding groups and enjoyed going on group events. He enjoyed the beautiful outdoors of Utah. He has shared his passion with many family members and friends over his lifetime.

He will be missed in our daily lives, but remembered in our hearts always.

A memorial service will be held for him on August 21, 2026, at 11:00 am at the McDougal Funeral Home Gathering Hall, 4306 South Redwood Road,Taylorsville, Utah, followed by a graveside service at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park at Camp Williams, Utah.
