"In Loving Memory"

Shirley was born December 29, 1936, to Karl Thomas and Daisy Bleazard Maloney in Murray, Utah and died August 24, 2026, in West Valley City, Utah. She lived her entire life in Salt Lake City, Taylorsville, and Sandy, Utah. Shirley married Evan Carlos Llewelyn (deceased) June 8, 1955, in the Salt Lake Temple. She has 10 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren. She loved camping, water fights, and spending time with her family and friends -- especially one-on-one time. Shirley's love for bread and sweets led her to be a dedicated worker at Metz Bakery for over 30 years where her customer service was second to none as each customer she served became her friend. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many positions. Shirley and Evan served missions at the LDS Church Employment Center, three summers at Mormon Handcart Historic site in Martin's Cove in Wyoming, and as an ordinance worker in the Jordan River Temple for many years. Shirley was known for her willingness to serve in all her Church callings. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; husband, siblings: Richard (BettyJo), Elaine (Dennis Warr) Eilleen, Wayne, and Brent; son-in-law, Carl Bremer; grandson, Bradley Joshua. She is survived by her children, daughters Susan (Warren) Ruoti, and Linda (Carl Bremer (deceased), sons, Tom (Cathy), Casper, Wyoming; Scott (Cindie), and Bradley Llewelyn, West Valley City, Utah.

A private family viewing will be held Saturday, August 29, 2026, at McDougal Funeral Home located at 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 pm at the LDS Ward located at 4980 West 3285 South, West Valley City, Utah.

Shirley will be buried with her husband at a graveside service to be held Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111South 1700 West, Bluffdale, Utah at 12:00 pm.
