Sheldon Lynn Christensen

January 21, 1935 — August 19, 2021

Our beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away Thursday, August 19, 2021. He was born January 21, 1935 in Logan, Utah to Feries and Vance Christensen. Married to Janiel Allen Christensen March 7, 1958, in the Logan Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He graduated from South Cache High School in 1953.

Sheldon will always be remembered for being kind and friendly. He always had a smile and a wave for whomever drove by; truly a kindhearted soul who will be missed by many. He also was a very hard worker. He started working from a very young age to help support his family. He was a carpet layer for over 40 years. He worked many hours and never complained. He always had a positive attitude and would help anyone in need. He loved animals, especially dogs. He loved hunting, fishing, and the great outdoors.

He is survived by his daughter Cindy (Rodney) Timmerman; and his son Blair Lynn Christensen; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife Janiel Allen Christensen; parents; and sisters Mariam and Linda.

We would like to send a special thanks out to the staff of Copper Ridge Care Center. Thank you for the love and the wonderful care you gave Sheldon. The Haven was his home for the last three years of his life, and you are part of our family.
