It is with heavy hearts and deepest sorrow that we have to announce the passing of our beloved daughter, sister, cousin, niece, granddaughter, girlfriend, and friend, Shaynell Pamela Payne. She passed away at home in Magna Utah, on January 30, 2021 at the young age of twenty-five.
Shaynell was born August 30, 1995 in Murray Utah, to Shane and Cindi Payne.
She loved being surrounded by family and friends, enjoyed going camping, family game nights, reading, writing, drawing comics, music, concerts, and watching scary movies.
She always leaned in and listened the most intently when Dad would tell scary stories around the campfire.
Shaynell had the most beautiful smile that would light up your soul, topped with the most infectious laugh. She was funny, outgoing, and vivacious; she would make you smile whenever you were having a bad day. Shaynell would give anyone the shirt off her back, even when she herself only had a dollar to her name.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew her and loved her. We will always remember her piercing hazel eyes and caring personality.
We ask not only to remember her beautiful spirit, but also remember to live life to the fullest because it is much too short.
Shaynell is survived by her parents Shane and Cindi; sister Jessica (Zach); brother Kaiden (Lou); brother Keith; neice Brielle; sister Crystal; best friend Britini Medina; boyfriend Miguel Lovato; grandparents; aunts; uncles; cousins; and friends.
We find comfort in knowing Shaynell was met by her grandparents, Ed (Pop) and Pam Wright and Dennis Payne. She is surrounded by her beloved animals, Chancie, Max, Jingle Bells, and Toby, giggling and finally at peace.
A memorial gathering will be held prior to the funeral on Friday February 5, at 6:00 PM, followed by the funeral at 7:00 PM located at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Rd, Taylorsville Utah, 84123.
