Shauna Kathryn Rollins Antczak

August 6, 1943 — March 2, 2021

Shauna AShauna A.

Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend Shauna Kathryn Rollins Antczak returned peacefully to our loving Father in Heaven March 2, 2021 after a valiant battle with Alzheimer's disease, at the age of 77. Born August 6, 1943 in Heber, Utah, daughter of Sperry Covington Rollins and Marian Kathryn Buehler Rollins. On June 23, 1967 she married the love of her life, Joseph Larry Antczak in the Salt Lake Temple, Utah. Together she and Larry had 6 children that they raised in Taylorsville, Utah.

Shauna was a beautiful person inside and outside. In her younger days she was Miss Wasatch County. In another pageant, she won the hearts of her competitors and was crowned Miss Congeniality. That temperament, along with her kindness and bright smile made her easy friends with everyone she ever came in contact with. Her personality was as sweet as the M&M chocolates she loved to indulge. She saw every stranger through her Heavenly Father's eyes and genuinely loved them and made quick friends. Her life was the epitome of the golden rule: She loved God with all her heart, might, mind, and strength, and loved others as herself. She dedicated her life to serving others and caring for their needs. Shauna's legacy will live on through everyone who knew her. Some of her greatest joys included spending time together at the family cabin, painting, reading books, and making handmade cards. Shauna had a great love for the Native American culture which included artwork, moccasins, and turquoise jewelry. She has a sizable collection of bears of all kinds (carved, stuffed, etc.). She thought they were too adorable to leave at a store and must come home with her at once. She was a social butterfly and loved visiting and spending time family and friends alike. She retired from Abbott Laboratories after working there for 24 years.

Shauna is preceded in death by her amazing parents.

Shauna leaves her handsome husband, Larry; her 3 brothers, Doug (Mary) Rollins, Robert (Linda) Rollins, and Scott (Susan) Rollins; her 6 children, Bruce (Cathi) Antczak, Staci (Patrick) Roark, Kerri (Daniel) Oakeson, Lashaun (Sean) Jager, Mark (Shannon) Antczak, Jared (Charlene) Antczak; her 20 grandchildren, Austin (Lindsay), Kaeleigh, Maxwell, Jack, Maelee, Ambree (Dallin), Benjamin, Megan, Sydnee, Rachel, Paityn, Sadie, Tragen, Nathan, Joshua, Wendi, Kyler, Ryan, Lyla, and Zoey.

We'd like to express our sincere gratitude to the staff at Carrington Court Memory Care in South Jordan, Utah. Our mom has felt welcomed from day one. Thank you for the exceptional care and kindness given to our mom and our family. Thank you, Active Hospice, for their kind and attentive care.
