Scott Robison

October 31, 1967 — August 16, 2022

Scott Dale Robison was born on October 31, 1967, in Dallas, Texas to Earle and Constance Robison. He passed away on Tuesday August 16, 2022.

His younger years were spent in Dallas and as a teen he lived in Roxton, Texas where he completed High School with high honors. After graduating from high school, he attended BYU in Provo Utah. He met and married Traci Scott and he was blessed with his first child, a son they named Sean. Their marriage was short, after which he married Tammy Webb. Scott was then blessed with his second son, Stanley. Scott loved both of his boys a great deal. Eventually he finally found the perfect woman -and met and married the true love of his life, Sandee Marie Beraz. Sandee and Scott were married in May of 2002. In September of 2015, they were sealed in the Oquirrh Mountain Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

As a young adult, Scott worked at a local radio station and for KTALK radio, where he found one of his lifelong hobbies and talents. Professionally, he worked in the computer software industry, beginning when the field was in its infancy. Over the course of his career he worked for Storage Craft, Media Port, and L-3 Harris. Scott valued education, and in 2020 he completed his Bachelor of Science with Honors, in Computer Science. Finishing his degree inspired him to start collaborating with other programmers with projects such as the Penske Robots Game for the Commodore 360 he was rebuilding. Scott enjoyed sharing his knowledge and skills. In 2022, he joined his wife Sandee, working part time at Mountain West Montessori Academy, where he taught Python Programming. Scott had a great sense of humor, and his fellow teachers especially looked forward to his biting wit at staff meetings.

Outside of work, Scott had many hobbies and past times he enjoyed. He was a huge Star Trek fan and enjoyed attending theatrical rereleased films with his wife. He loved science and space exploration specifically and was looking forward to returning to Cape Canaveral. Traveling with his wife and puppies was a favorite past-time, where they spent many miles and hours traveling across the country in their RV. Scott enjoyed collecting and restoring vintage computers. As many in his generation, he loved DC Comics, specifically The Flash and Green Lantern. He loved making people laugh and had a gift for smoothing ruffled feelings, which allowed him to explore a deep interest in researching and debating politics, government, and current events.

Scott is survived by his wife, Sandee Robison; son Sean Dale Robison; and daughter-in-law Kayla Marie; son Stanley David Robison; his sister Vicki Lynn Robison; and father Earle Robison.

Preceded in death by his mother Constance Robison; and their 3 puppies Sugar, Spikey and Sunny.
