Scott Lester Morton

January 29, 1950 — April 5, 2021

Scott Lester Morton, 71, of Kearns, Utah, passed away on April 5th, 2021. Scott was preceded in death by his parents Lester and Rita Morton, his brothers Kelly, Leslie, and sister Shirlee Morton. 

Scott is survived by his wife Sarah; sons and daughters Tessa, Jason, Jared, Tricia (Page), Joshua, Justin, Jeremy and Rita Morton; sisters Patricia Beecher and Laurie Criddle; and 13 loving grandchildren, one great-grandchild and one on the way, many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Scott was raised in Kaysville by his loving parents. He graduated from Davis High School, before setting off to become a jack of all trades. Scott was an avid hunter and loved to share those adventures with his friends and family. He would never miss an opportunity to share his hunting stories with anyone who would listen.

Scott will be missed as he continues his hunt in greener pastures.

Viewing will take place at 11:00 a.m., Kearns 10th Ward building, 5025 West 4865 South Kearns, Utah. Services will follow at 12:00 p.m. and graveside to follow at Kaysville City Cemetery.
