Ryan Jeffrey Holt
August 23, 1977 - August 1, 2025
Ryan Jeffrey Holt, 47, passed away on August 1, 2025 in a tragic accident while riding his motorcycle in Parleys Canyon.
He was born on August 23, 1977, in Murray, Utah, to Steven Holt and Susan Higbee. In 2002, Ryan married Trudi Lynne Breeze. They went on to have two sons, Ethan Ryan (20) and Caleb Jeffrey (19). The family was sealed for time and all eternity on June 30, 2011 in the Salt Lake City Temple.
He served a Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in the Russia, Moscow Region from 1997-1998.
Ryan built a career in construction and tile setting. He was highly skilled in all things that required manual labor, including working on many home projects. The most important thing Ryan helped shape and build was character and work ethic to his sons, which will go on for generations. Ryan was also an amazing chef. One of Ryan's greatest challenges was overcoming the disease of alcoholism. He just celebrated 5 years of sobriety in June.
When Ryan was not at work, you could find him with his family in the outdoors that he cherished, riding motorbikes, dirt bikes, and snowmobiles. Ryan loved squirrels and had the ability to "call" them in around him.
He is survived by his wife, Trudi; sons, Ethan (Kaitlyn) and Caleb; He is also survived by his Parents, Steven and Susan Holt; Siblings, Adam, Marcie, TJ (Natalia), Carter (Jessika); Nieces and Nephews, Dean, Hazel and Adelaide; Christine, Kaylee and Ella Holt. Preceded in death by Sister, Chrissa Holt
