I was born in Ferron, Utah on March 10, 1935, to Ruth Leslie and Clifton Nelson.
I went to school and graduated from South Emery High School, where I had many friends and spent happy fun-filled days.
To those I have loved and those who have loved me, I did not want to leave you, but Heaven is not that far away. Remember me with smiles and all the happy times we shared together. My love for you will never die. It will be there when you see a beautiful sunset in early evening. I will be there when rain drops fall in the ever return of spring. I'm summer when you fish at the lake, and pink roses bloom in the garden. I will be there in the golden glow of an autumn day, and when snowflakes fall in the ice beauty of winter.
All of this I leave to you. Life is a gift. Treasure each day.
My beloved children are Terry, Tracy, Tim, and Troy.
Thank you, Troy, for always being there for me, and Tracy, for loving Ferron Mountain as much as I did.
I was to lose two of my children. There are no words that can adequately express the pain and sorrow of those days. They will live in my heart forever.
To my very dear grandchildren, Colton and Carlie, I love you to the moon and back.
My brother Grant Nelson, sisters Roma Hartman, Irene (Stuart) Williams, Shirley (Howard) Cook, you gave me kindness, love, and support when I most needed it.
Preceded in death by my beloved sons Tim and Terry, baby brother Leslie, mother Ruth and father Clifton Nelson, and Alta, my sweet little grandmother who took me in when I was a baby. She left a legacy of strength, courage, and unending love. Also preceded by my two uncles Mark and Melrose Nelson.
