Ruby Hope Taylor

Ruby passed away at home with loved ones around her.  Mom battled cancer for 18 long, hard, painful years. She was the strongest, spiritual person and always looked for the good in everyone and everything – that was mom.

Ruby was born to Joseph and Lula Young in Heber, Utah. She was the youngest of 10 children.

Ruby married Jame L. Tisdale. They had four children: Justin L. Tisdale, Pamla Tisdale, Phillip V. Tisdale, Jason L. Tisdale. She later divorced.

Mom met the love of her life, Wayne Taylor. He had five children: Starla Lowder, Colette Startton (Alan), Pam Mecham (Don), Pat Young (Dee), Merle Taylor (Chantel). We became a family of 11.  The marriage was later solemnized in 1972, in the Bountiful Temple.

Ruby is survived by 8 children; and 1 sister, Loa.

Preceded in death by son, Phillip; parents; 5 brothers; and 3 sisters.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 14, 2022, 11:00 a.m., at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 494 West Main Canyon Road, Wallsburg, Utah, where a viewing will precede services from 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Wallsburg Cemetery, Wallsburg, Utah.

A luncheon will follow all services at the church house.
