Rondalyn Shaw Cloward, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and devoted disciple of Christ, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2025. Born on September 2, 1942, to Afton Ellison and Milton R. Shaw, she lived a life filled with faith, kindness, and service.
Rondalyn dedicated her career to caring for others, first as an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) and later as a health unit coordinator at St. George Regional Hospital. Her unwavering compassion and commitment to healing touched the lives of countless patients, colleagues, and friends.
Her love for service extended beyond her profession and into her devotion to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She found immense joy in serving, especially within the Relief Society, where she uplifted and cared for many in her community. Her faith was a guiding light, and she lived her testimony through actions of kindness and generosity.
Beyond her professional and spiritual callings, Rondalyn found great happiness in crafting, quilting, and baking. She had a gift for bringing warmth into the homes of her loved ones, creating cherished memories through her talents and creativity.
Rondalyn is survived by her two brothers, Stanford Shaw (Pat) and Howard Shaw, as well as her six sons: Thomas Cloward (Linnet), Robert Cloward, James Cloward (Laurie), Jeffrey Cloward (Jenni), Joshua Cloward (Megan), and Joseph Cloward. She also leaves behind a legacy of love through her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Afton Ellison and Milton R. Shaw, and her sister, Sally Joan Shaw.
Rondalyn's life was a testament to love, faith, and service. Her example will continue to inspire those who knew her, and her presence will be deeply missed.
