Ronald Leslie Stephens

Ronald Leslie Stephens was born October 28, 1943, to Grace Maurine Thomas Stephens and Douglas Lorane Stephens in Salt Lake City, Utah. He lived a life always being in service to others. His soul was deep; he felt deep feelings, and he thought deep thoughts. He was loyal and devoted to those he loved. He had a sense of duty that made him a hard worker, yet he had a sense of humor to make life fun at whatever he was doing.

He still lives on as he was initiated at death to be born into his next life in Heaven, greeted by his loved ones who passed on before him. He passed away in the early morning hours just after midnight on May 6, 2026, found by his beloved wife Diana, leaving this world in the same year they had their 60th wedding anniversary.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Diana Stephens, daughter Ronna Stephens, son Richard Stephens, grandson Stephen Gonzales, and many extended family members and friends.

We will greatly miss him, but we know that his spirit lives on in our hearts and the memories that were created.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday  May 20, 2026, 12:00 p.m. at Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 South Redwood Road, Bluffdale, Utah. At noon sharp an Honor Guard Ceremony will be held in honor of Ron's service to the military located by the Mausoleum. After the Honor Guard Ceremony we will all gather at the Chapel on the Cemetery Grounds for a "Celebration of Life" in honor of Ronald. Following the service, everyone is invited to a social gathering with food, dance, and Elvis (my dad loved music, his favorite was Elvis) held at Meadow Heights Ward, 4310 South 3200 West, West Valley City, Utah.
