Rodney Earl Charlesworth went home peacefully to his Heavenly Father at the age of 67 with his family by his side. He was born January 31, 1959, to John and Virginia Charlesworth in Pocatello Idaho, ending up in Salt Lake City where many memories were made.

Rodney met the love of his life and forever sweetheart Gina while attending Eisenhower Jr High many years ago. Gina and Rodney were married April 8 th , 1978, and together they had four lucky children-Jared (Amy) of Columbia Falls, Montana, Brandon (Corinne) of Herriman, Jason and Jill of West Valley City.

Rodney has six grandchildren he cherished -Bailey Marie, Zachary Joseph, Parker Alex,Ashton Taylor, Brooklyn Haliey, and Skylar Elaine. Rodney was preceded in death by his loving wife Gina, his mother and father John and Virginia.

Rodney had many talents that he was always sharing, he had a green thumb and an extensive knowledge of trees and was always willing to share how to trim them correctly and how to help them flourish. That same talent transferred over to teaching his children the many lessons in life and doing all he could to make those around him happy. 

We will miss you Dad but know of the joyous reunion with mom. This is not the end just farewell for now, love ya dad. Till we meet again.

Graveside service will be Wednesday, February 11 th , 2026, at 11am

Interment will be at Elysian Gardens.
