Raylene Martin Gunn

November 16, 1948 — July 18, 2016

It is with very heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our mother Raylene Martin Gunn who passed away peacefully Monday, July 18, 2016. She was born November 16, 1948. She brought so much joy into so many people's lives and will be terribly missed. We can only hope that your reunion with loved ones was everything you had hoped it would be. We love you so much mom and our lives have forever changed. We pray that our family grows closer and will continue to carry you in our hearts always. You were the sweetest, loving person that everyone fell in love with the minute they met you. You had such an infectious laugh and a smile that would light up a room. You were the matriarch of the family. We pray that we can continue your legacy in a way that will make you proud. You were our rock, mom. The world will never be the same without you. Rest in peace, mom. We know you're being very well taken care of and surrounded by so much love! That's the only thing that brings us comfort. Until we see you again, know you are loved more than words can express and life will never be the same without you here. She was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy Frank Gunn; daughter, Jayme Ybarra; sisters, Colleen Eversole, and Sharon Seely; brother, Ron Martin; mother, Dorothy Martin; and father, James Martin. She is survived by her daughter, Andrea Gibson; sons, Jason Ybarra, and Sam Gunn; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren who will all miss her tremendously; and best friend, Glenda Justice. A Celebration of Life in her honor will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, August 6, at her home in Sandy. Arrangements under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home.
