Patricia Ann Franz

Patricia Ann Liddell Franz, 79, of Salt Lake City, passed away peacefully on July 2nd, 2026, surrounded by her family at her bedside.

Born in Roosevelt Utah, she then moved to Salt Lake City early in her life. She graduated from West High School, married Michael Paul Franz in 1965, and began her family journey. Patricia was a counselor at Clayton Jr. high school where she touched countless young lives over the years until she retired.

Mom loved camping, fishing, and most of all being mamma bear. She was the mother of 5 children, and they were everything to her. She loved to garden and was known for all the colorful marigolds on the block and the beautiful yard. Patricia loved to sew and create clothes for her children like they were a pop band or movie stars. She loved life and loved laughing. Patricia had a beautiful smile and would share it with everyone. She was everyone's mom with an open heart and a huge hug. She was the best!

Patricia is survived by her sister Lee, her 5 children Michael, Tresa, Traci, Michele, Susan, 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at McDougal funeral home on July 9, 2026 at 11:00am, located at 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah.
