Papataia loved fishing!  He also loved to play Samoan cricket and volleyball. To him, Food is Life! He enjoyed eating and loved his food!

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The gospel was very important to him and faithfully fulfilled every calling possible except for a Bishop. He absolutely loved serving and he loved the gospel. His favorite quote was “Families are Forever”!  He loved teaching the Plan of Salvation! He also attended the temple almost every week.
