Nola Joyce (Trowbridge) Rowland Rutter passed away on Friday August 18, 2017 in her home in Washington, Utah where she lived for the past year and a half. Nola was born November 18, 1951 in Denver CO. Nola was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved serving. Her favorite calling was actually calling every member of the ward on their birthday to wish them happy birthday from the Bishop and the ward members. Nola and her husband Charles served a mission as microfilm missionaries in the Cincinnati, Ohio Mission and the Cleveland, Ohio Mission. She loved serving as a missionary and loved sharing her sacred experiences while on her mission. Nola loved her nieces and nephews. She loved her family and she loved babies. Nola had unconditional love for everyone. Nola loved to volunteer and spent countless hours at the Bishop's Storehouse and serving in nursing homes. She loved to crochet and cross stitch and lovingly shared her talents with countless many. She was a woman of faith and a person with no guile. She was a good example to us all and she will be missed by all who knew her. We will miss her kind and gentle nature, her tender heart, and her strong testimony of the Savior. She is survived by her siblings: sister Julie Dee (Trowbridge)Grow; brother-in-law Dave Grow; brother Richard Tobias Trowbridge; sister-in-law Carolyn; brother Thomas Trowbridge; sister-in-law Judy; brother Jack Trowbridge; and sister-in-law Patty. She is preceded in death by her father Harry James Trowbridge; mother Virginia (Cox) Trowbridge Litres; husband Henry Daniel Rowland, Jr; and husband Harold Charles Rutter, Jr. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 28, 2017, 10:00 a.m. at Taylorsville 19th Ward, 2030 West Chateau Avenue, where a viewing will be held prior to services from 9:00-9:45 a.m. Interment, Pleasant Green Cemetery.
