Nichole Davis

My niece, Nikki Davis passed through the veil in the early morning hours following a long illness. Nikki's devoted friend and "ride or die" Don, was by her side as he has been for many years.

Nikki's love for life, her kindness, was a lode star. She was compassionate and lived in service to help people who needed a friend, a room, or just a person they could lean on. She had a deep love and respect for all living beings. And they loved her back.

She and her cousin, Cindee Oberhansly-Freestone, were inseparable as children and teenagers; the bond has been unbreakable throughout their lives.

Nikki loved her mom and dad with all her heart. She was an amalgamation of both of them. She had a fierce intellect and an awesome sense of humor, often sharing laughter with friends and strangers.

I loved her deeply and will miss her. She and Don traveled together; the Sturgis rally was a favorite destination on Don's Harley. They had many friends with whom they shared this passion. I always looked forward to seeing them when they came through Lander.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Until then Nikki, may the Creator bless you with love as you reunite with those who awaited you in the Land of Beginning Again.
