Mary M. Davis 1927 ~ 2011 Our beautiful mother, Mary M. Davis, 83, adored grandmother, sister and friend, passed peacefully on Wednesday, June 22, 2011. With family gathered round, she was re-united with her husband, son, parents, three sisters, two brothers, and three grandsons in their heavenly home. Mary was born in Salt Lake City, Utah November 29, 1927 to Harry Manos and Ella Stock Manos. She graduated from West High School. Mary met her husband Delbert Elray Davis and they were married on July 25, 1951. They raised 7 children: 4 sons and 3 daughters. Mary had a great love for her Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ. She served in many church callings, loved to attend the temple, enjoyed doing genealogy, sewing, reading, and crocheting. Survived by her children: Thomas (Janene), Peggy (Jim), Mike (Tatyana), Gary, Gina (Mike), Melanie (Kurt); her 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and her sister Peggy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Ella; her husband Dave, her son James Ray, and 3 grandsons: Joshua, Matthew and Dusty. The family wishes to express their gratitude for Aunt Dee Egan for all her help and support. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 28, 2011, 12:00 noon at the Hunter 9th Ward, 3500 South 6400 West, West Valley City. Friends may call at the McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road on Monday, 6-8:00 p.m. and Tuesday at the church, 11-11:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park, 4335 West 4100 South. Hobbies:Being with family, Enjoyed temple attendance, genealogy, sewing, reading and crochetingOccupation:Homemaker
