Marsha Kimberlin

August 27, 1943 — June 11, 2025

Marsha Lee Miles Kimberlin, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and adventure. Born on August 27,1943, in Salt Lake City, Utah to William Marks Miles and Leona Mae Einer, Marsha brought joy and warmth into the world from the very beginning.

At just 16 years old, Marsha made a bold and heartfelt choice -- she married a handsome sailor named John, beginning a life filled with devotion, family, and unforgettable memories. Together they raised a family of six children and later opened their hearts to adopt two of their grandsons, creating a home that welcomed all.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had a strong testimony in the gospel and served in several callings throughout her life.

Marsha was a woman of many talents and endless creativity. From cake decorating and crafting Halloween costumes, to twirling in square dances, she embraced each skill with passion and flair. Her zest for life was infectious. She enjoyed making people smile by dressing up as Raggedy Ann or as a clown.

Her latest activity at Plymouth View apartments involved secretly decorating residents' doors for their birthdays at night. She was always ready for the next adventure, whether it meant sleeping on the 24th of July Parade route to get the best view, taking spontaneous road trips, cruising through canyons, or enjoying random shopping trips just to browse and look at everything.

She had a gift for friendship and a heart as big as the world. Marsha never met a person she could not call her friend -- her kindness, humor, and open spirit drew people in and made them feel at home.

Marsha is survived by her eight children: Rusty (Jana) Kimberlin, Sunday (Russ) Taylor, Rick Kimberlin, LaRayne (Harvey) Burrows, Derrick Kimberlin, Ronalee (Clay) Taylor, Scott Kimberlin, and Dillon Kimberlin. She also leaves behind 19 cherished grandchildren, 15 treasured great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Marsha was preceded in death by her beloved husband John, with whom she shared 52 years of marriage. She also reunites in peace with her sister June Dodge, brother Bob Miles, her precious great-granddaughter Raven Taylor, and her sweet twin great-grandsons Sonny and Levi.

Marsha's memory will live on in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know her. Her life was a testament to love, resilience, and joy -- and her light will continue to shine through the lives she touched.
