Marie Frandsen Baum, age 89. Born May 23, 1932, in Consumers, Utah. She was raised in American Fork, Utah where she worked on the family farm with her parents Theren and Sydonia Frandsen. She attended LDS business college.
She married Bradford Baum in 1949. They raised their family in Kearns, Utah. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many callings including relief society president for three bishops. She was a cub scout leader for 20 years. She worked as an assistant accountant in SLC and a teacher’s assistant for Granite School District.
She enjoyed crocheting, embroidering, and jigsaw puzzles. She was an avid reader who shared thousands of books with others.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, husband, and son, Ted Cameron. She is survived by Carol (Bruce) McDonald; Phil; Darol; Lynn (Marcia Luke); 7 grand-children and 6 great-children.
Alzheimer’s robbed her of the last years of her life. Thank you to Renew Hospice, Robin and Della for their years of care.
Viewing will be held Thursday, December 23, 2021, 11-11:45 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home 4330 S. Redwood Rd. Taylorsville, Utah. Private family service to follow. Interment will be at Valley View Memorial Park following private family service.
