Marian Grace Gold Goff, age 74, of Murray, Utah passed away unexpectedly on July 28, 2025.
Grace was born on February 12, 1951, in Berkeley, California and was later adopted by Alma Herbert Gold and Marian Woodbury. She spent her early years in California before eventually settling in Utah.
It was in Utah where she met the love of her life, Kenneth Goff. Together, they navigated life's many ups and downs, raising their two sons, Colin and Jeremy. Their journey as a family was shaped by both hardship and resilience. Grace also warmly welcomed Ken's son, Robb, from a previous marriage, into her heart and family.
After Kenneth's passing in 1998, Grace found comfort and peace in listening to audiobooks, especially tales of adventurous cats, and immersing herself in arts and crafts. Throughout her life, she enjoyed a variety of activities including teaching special needs students in Davis County schools, Mauri dancing, researching family history, and offering support to those going through difficult times. She also held a deep love for ceramics and was actively involved at the blind center, where she spent many joyful hours creating beautiful works and forging cherished friendships.
Above all, Grace adored her cats. They were not just pets, but cherished companions who stood by her side through all of life's seasons. Whether curled up beside her during quiet evenings or greeting her at the door, their presence brought her deep comfort and joy. She found peace in their company, and they returned her affection with unwavering loyalty. To Grace, her cats were family - faithful friends who brought light, laughter, and love into her everyday life. They truly meant the world to her.
Grace is survived by her two sons Colin and Jeremy and many grandchildren: Dilin, Kenner, Gabriel, Lily, Ember, Oakley, and Cameron. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Ken, and her parents Alma and Marian.
