Marcia Johnson Gordon

Marcia Gordon, our beloved wife, mother and grandmother, returned to her Heavenly Father on January 1, 2022 at the age of 82.

Marcia was a doting grandmother who loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be remembered by those who knew her as the most loving and accepting person on the planet. She took each of us with all our flaws and mistakes and held us in her loving arms without judgment or reservation. She loved family history and collected a myriad of family photos. She was active in her church and served as the librarian for many years, which she absolutely loved. She even assisted new librarians after her release. She loved arts and crafts and was an avid quilter who made quilts for all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Marcia is survived by her husband Glen Gordon; Kyle Lawson, daughter; Kam Gordon, son; Keith Gordon, son; and Kage Gordon, son; 11 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Glade Johnson, father; Lella Hale Johnson, mother; Madison Kaye Gordon, granddaughter; and Terra Ann Gordon, granddaughter.

A viewing will be held at 10:00 am followed by funeral services at 11:00 am on Friday, January 7, 2022 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints church house located at 2850 West 3835 South, West Valley City, Utah, 84119. Interment, Utah Veterans Memorial Park.
