Listen to Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister-in-law, and friend, Lynne, on February 23, 2026.

Lynne's greatest joy in life was her family. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Grant J. Price, for 62 years, proudly standing beside him, not only as his partner in life, but also as a faithful and dedicated coach's wife. Season after season, she supported him with quiet strength and love.

She was also the ultimate supportive mom of active kids. Lynne was always there, never missing a game or performance. Her support was not loud or showy, but steady, sincere, and constant. She cheered in her own quiet way, offering encouragement, comfort, and pride that meant more than words could express.

As a mother and grandmother, she was deeply loving and extremely proud. Nothing brought her more happiness than watching her children and grandchildren grow, compete, and succeed. Her presence was a steady foundation for her family.

Her second great passion was gardening. Lynne found peace and joy with her hands in the soil, nurturing flowers and plants with the same gentle care she gave to those she loved. Her gardens were a reflection of her spirit - beautiful, welcoming, and full of life.

"Mema" is what those who love her most called her. We will always remember her with a Coke in her hand, her homemade salsa and apple pie,and the 4th of July family breakfast, which quickly turned into an entire day of laughs.

Lynne was a dedicated member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She also worked in the offices where her children attended school, including West Jordan High and Joel P. Jensen Middle School.

She is survived by her loving husband, Grant J. Price; her children Jeff (Lisa), Stacy (Robert), Brad (Jennifer), Kristie (Madison), and Mitchell (Rebecca); 12 cherished grandchildren; and 3½ adored great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind extended family and dear friends who will miss her deeply.

She is preceded in death by her father (Leslie), mother (Verta), and sister (Pat).

Lynne's legacy lives on in the family she loved so completely and the countless lives she touched with her kindness, quiet strength, and faithful support.

She will be forever loved and forever missed.

Per Lynne's request, there will be no viewing or funeral, just a graveside service with family and close friends. If you would like to talk with Grant or other family members, there will be an open house at the Price home on Saturday, February 28 from 1:30-3:00.
