"GONE TO MY GARDEN IN HEAVEN"

It is with heavy hearts the family of LuAnn Ellen Wilkins announces the passing of their Mother December 29, 2022 surrounded by family at home. LuAnn was born on August 7, 1939 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Claude and Ellen Coon. She married the love of her life Rex on June 27, 1955.

LuAnn was a loving wife and mother to her family of five children. She was without a doubt the pillar and patriarch of her family and will be missed dearly until we meet again.

LuAnn enjoyed spending time with her family both at home and in the outdoors. She was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys. LuAnn was without a doubt the best cook in the valley. She enjoyed cooking at home and while camping and always made sure her family was well fed. She loved working in her yard and garden along with all her many rose bushes that she loved.

LuAnn will be lovingly remembered by her children Debbie, Joyce (Joe), Scott (Anna), and Wendy. She will be greatly missed by her 12 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her Husband Rex, Daughter Lisa, and Grandson Don.

A viewing and funeral services will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023 at McDougal Funeral home located at 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville Utah. The viewing will be from 11:00-12:00, with funeral services to follow. Graveside dedication will be at Murray City Cemetery located at 5490 South Vine St., Murray. Following graveside services a luncheon will be provide at LDS Church located at 3500 South 6400 West, West Valley City.
