Listen to Obituary

Lisa Faye Keele, age 63, was a devoted mother, loving grandmother, proud great-grandmother, and the cherished wife of Robert Keele. She passed away in the early morning of November 20, 2025, surrounded by those she loved most. Lisa was born on April 16, 1962, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Jaynene and Robert Stromberg. She grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah, with her four siblings.

At the age of 17, on August 25, 1979, Lisa married the love of her life. Together, they built a life rooted in love and raised two beautiful daughters. Over the years, their family grew to include eight cherished grandchildren and one precious great-granddaughter, each of whom she adored deeply.

Lisa radiated beauty both inside and out, and her presence in any room was unmistakable. Her generous heart and kindness touched everyone who knew her. She truly had a heart of gold, and the love she shared will be remembered forever.

Lisa devoted many years to Wells Fargo Bank, where she formed meaningful friendships and took great pride in her work before retiring.

She found joy in camping, traveling, attending concerts, dancing, taking scenic drives to the horse races, and shopping. Above all, she treasured the time spent with her family. Their love, laughter, and shared moments brought Lisa the greatest joy and filled her life.

She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Keele; her two daughters, Natalie (Julian) Trevino and Amberly (Leonard) Martinez; eight grandchildren, Elicia, Angelina, Julian, Nathaniel, Mikayla, Ashlynn, Ethean, and Marissa; one great-granddaughter, Laylynn; her sister, Gina Jelaskovic; her brothers, Kevin and Kenny Stromberg; and her nieces and nephew. Her memory will be held close in the hearts of all who knew her, and she will be profoundly missed every single day.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jaynene Grover and Robert Stromberg; her stepfather, Mike Grover; her sister, Teena Bailey; her beloved fur babies, Charlee and Sammi; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Our family would like to extend our deepest gratitude to all the nurses and to Dr. Chi Chan Lee at the Huntsman Cancer Institute ICU for the exceptional care, compassion, and tenderness they gave her. Lisa was, without a doubt, the bravest and strongest woman we have ever known. She faced a battle no one should ever have to endure, yet she was a warrior who did it with unwavering courage, grace, and tremendous strength.

The funeral service to honor Lisa's life will be held on Monday, December 1, 2025, at 1:00 PM at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah.
