Leatrice Joy McBroon

Leatrice Joy McBroon Age 83 passed away on September 9, 2026, at home with family and friends by her side. She was married to Melvin C Hardy and later divorced and then married Tom C McBroon.

Together they raised 6 children : Lydia (Dennis), Christopher (deceased), Steven, Laura, Bonnie (Taylor), and Mary.

They have 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson.

She graduated from South High School.

She loved her cats and horses when she was younger.

She is preceded in death by her husband, son, and parents, Lawrence and Norma Amodt.

She is survived by her brothers, Larry, Louis (Janet), and Robert (Candy). 

We would like to say a special thank you to Hospice of Utah for their loving care for her.

As per her wishes there will be no service, just a dedication of the grave on Friday, September 18, 2026, at 11:00 am at Valley View Memorial Park, 4415 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah.
