Larry Earl Brimmer

Larry Earl Brimmer, 69, passed away February 7, 2015 at his home in Salt Lake City, Utah, surrounded by his family, following an extended illness. Born March 20, 1945 in Casper, Wyoming to Scotty and Bertha Brimmer. Graduated from Natrona County High School in Casper, class of 63. Served in the US Navy, 1963-76 as a Machinist Mate 1st Class. He was a Vietnam veteran. Married Debby Warren April 23, 1971 in Jacksonville, FL. Worked at Tooele Army Depot for 16 years, loved working on cars and building trikes. He was a mountain man, who enjoyed hunting, fishing, knives, guns and camping. He lived in Florida, Wyoming and Utah. Survived by wife, Debby of 43 years; children: Carol (Stan), Krystal (Rob Park), Lisa (Jon); grandchildren: Bailey, Hagen, Saber, Linsey, Shayla, Portia, Pierce and Beatrix; beloved dog, Rags; along with many friends whose lives he touched. He will be missed by all. Preceded in death by parents; siblings too many to list. The family would like to thank doctors and staff of VAMC, and Superior Home Health and Hospice for all their care, love and support in our time of need. Graveside services will be held Friday, February 13, 2015, 12:00 noon at Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 South Redwood Road. Arrangements under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home.
