Khristina Patterson

November 11, 1948 — March 24, 2023

Khristina "Tina" Lynn (Lasrich) Patterson passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on March 24th, 2023, in Murray, Utah. Tina was born November 11, 1948, to Robert Werner Lasrich Sr. and Virginia Ruth (Parker) Lasrich.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband of 54 years, Vernon "Vern" Al Patterson. Tina and Vern were married on January 13th, 1968, and after almost a year after Vern's passing, are back together again.

She had three children, William "Bill" Mark Patterson, Rebecca "Becky" Lynne (Patterson) Larkin (Darin), and Michael "Mike" Vernon Patterson (Shantel).

Tina devoted her time in service to others. Known as the neighborhood mom, she welcomed any child to come into her home, even if it was to wait for the school bus or to just come visit with her.

She provided day care for neighborhood kids for only $5 a day and was an active volunteer for Utah Youth Soccer Association.

Tina and Vern never missed one of their grandchildren's sports or other events. Her positive influence and guidance changed the lives of all those she cared for and will be felt for generations.

She was also a season ticket holder for the Utah Grizzlies for over 20 years and loved attending games with her husband. Tina loved bears and had many figures that decorated her nurturing home.

Tina survived her first battle with breast cancer in 2019. After Vern's passing in 2021, Tina's health declined and her cancer aggressively returned in 2023, eventually taking her life. She will be missed but never forgotten.

She was loved by many, however she cared for all.

She is survived by her sister Amy Ruth Henderson (Lasrich), brother Robert Werner Lasrich Jr., three children, six grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. A celebration of life and burial of both Tina and Vern is planned for early spring.
