Kathleen Parr Kingsbury (1935-2025) Salt Lake City, Utah

Kathleen (Kitty) Parr Kingsbury passed away early the morning of August 12, 2025, being united with her loving husband after 18 years of waiting, since his passing in 2007.

As a young girl, Kathleen grew up in Sugarhouse, Utah, directly across the street from a boy named Kenneth, who would become her husband in 1958 in a sealing ceremony solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.

Mom's favorite color was yellow and her favorite holiday was Thanksgiving. She also had a special place in her heart for snowman figurines during the holidays.

Kathleen's favorite thing in life was her family - as was evidenced by the photograph-covered walls in her home. She was a reliable source of support to so many during both happy and difficult times.

The family extends their gratitude to the numerous facilities and caregivers who made her as comfortable as possible during the years that her health was in decline. Much appreciation is also expressed to friends, neighbors and acquaintances who checked in regularly to offer support.

Kathleen is survived by her four children, Kevin Kingsbury, Kyle (Barbie) Kingsbury, Kayleen (Michael) Olson, and Keith (Sophie) Kingsbury. She was grandma to 11, great-grandma to 14 and great-great grandma to 2.
