Karen Barbara Ojeda

Born Feb.6,1956, and returned to our Heavenly father on Friday Feb.16, 2024, at the age of 68. She left a big hole in the hearts of her loved ones. She was a very strong-willed person, living her life without fear and to the fullest. Having survived a brain tumor and 9 years ago a massive heart attack, nothing could hold her down. She always had a smile and was always a happy person. She loved her trips to Wendover and was often a big winner. She is survived by two daughters Angela Pena and Amanda(Leo) Barela, nine grandchildren Ely(Desiree) Erika (Dennis), Aliyah (Julius), Alyssia, Angelina(Damian) Angel, Magic, Leo, and Aliyah four great-grandchildren Namoi, Namari, Kane and Jonah, her precious Mamacita Linda Mary Barela, two brothers Fred and Marv Barela, 2 sisters Lorraine( Isidore) Sanchez, Katherine ( Richard) Warren. She is preceded in death by her loving father Eliufredo (Leo) Barela, her eldest precious daughter Felicia Byland and a brother Leroy Barela. Services will be on Friday Feb.23, 2024, at St. Martin De Porres - 4914 South 2200 West, Taylorsville, Utah.
